advertising policy
Advertising agreements are for a duration of two, three or four issues within one year. Advertising must be inserted within consecutive issues, beginning with the first insertion date, unless otherwise agreed to by the Publisher in writing.
Cancellation notice must be received by the Publisher in writing before the Closing Date of the issue in which cancellation is requested. The Advertiser will be billed for any frequency discounts previously taken which become non-applicable due to such cancellation (ie; short rated).
copy and artwork responsibility
Submission of copy and artwork is the sole responsibility of the Advertiser. If the Advertiser fails or refuses to submit copy and/or artwork for the contracted advertising space, the Advertiser is still responsible for payment of the contracted advertising. If instructions to change copy or artwork are not received by the closing date, copy and artwork run in the previous issue will be published.
acceptance and liability
The Publisher may restrict or refuse advertising at any time at its sole discretion, even though such advertising may have been previously accepted. The Advertiser warrants that they are the duly appointed agent or authorized representative of the product or service advertised. The Advertiser further warrants and represents that the description of the product or service advertised is true in all respects.
In the event of any errors in or omissions of all or any part of an advertisement, the Publisher's liability shall be limited to a pro-rata abatement of the charges payable for such advertisement during the service life of the magazine issue in which such errors or omissions occur, in the same proportion that such errors or omissions reduce the value of the entire advertisement. The Advertiser, in consideration for the publication of the advertisement, will also indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher from any and all liability, loss and expense (including court costs and attorney fees) including claims or law-suits for libel, plagiarism, copy-right or trademark infringement, invasion of privacy, or any other claim based on the content of the advertisement.
production charges
Unless material is received camera-ready, Advertisers will be billed for production work performed by Publisher. All production costs including color separations, layout, design, stripping and sales tax, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Advertiser. Production invoices are due and payable upon receipt. Drive Guide USA LLC has full production capabilities including ad design, copywriting, illustration, typesetting, reproduction and color separations. Quotes available upon request.
